The folks at WordPress have rolled out an even better blogging (turned CMS) tool with version 2.8. I’ve updated my site to 2.8 and like the new features. For non-techie users, I think the theme picker is a huge improvement. The widget interface is also a lot more intuitive. For folks who like to dig into the code, the CodePress editor makes editing theme and plugin files much easier. I may even start using it more often, instead of my usual go-to text editor TextWrangler. While the overall look and feel is pretty consistent with 2.7, the under the hood improvements go a long way to making a good program even better!
